CURATING ORIGINALITY TAKES TALENT
W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring an Engineering Handyperson. You will play an integral role in the ongoing maintenance of the Hotel so the right candidate will have a diverse skill set. Responsibilities range from conducting a variety of duties from repairs, upkeep of the building structure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fixtures, fittings, and equipment. In addition, you will;
Carry out all tasks, guided by the work request system and as requested by guests and Talent
Ensure all tasks are performed with urgency and in the safest manner possible
Perform regular plant, equipment, and water quality checks, and complete logs accurately
Assist in managing third party contractors
Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment and order as required
Ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Hotel policies
Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service
