JOB SUMMARY

The Creative Manager is a key player in the marketing department, responsible for shaping the visual identity of the brand and creating visually appealing content that captures the attention of the hotel’s target audience. Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel, in addition to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, creative assets. The Creative Manager will contribute to the overall success of marketing campaigns, enhance brand recognition, and drive customer engagement. This role is instrumental in translating marketing strategies into visually compelling narratives that resonate with consumers and differentiate W Doha Hotel brand in a competitive marketplace.

The expertise in 3D design and animation is essential for the Creative Manager role as it enables the development of cutting-edge visual content that captivates audiences and enhances the brand's storytelling capabilities. By leveraging 3D design and animation skills, the Creative Manager can create immersive and interactive experiences that set the hotel’s marketing initiatives apart from competitors, drive engagement, and leave a lasting impression on the hotel’s target audience. The ability to craft compelling 3D visuals and animations is a valuable asset in content development, enabling the marketing department to deliver impactful campaigns across various digital platforms and channels.

This roles requires leading and supervising on all creative tasks while ensuring the best practice and standards are being implemented, the Creative Manager should have a say in all creative direction. Through the creative vision and leadership of the Creative Manager, this role will help bring the brand to life, establish a strong visual presence in the market, and drive engagement with the hotel’s customers.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• Degree in Graphic Design, 3D, animation Marketing, Fine Arts, or related field.

• Proven experience in a creative leadership role.

• An experience of at least 5 years in the same role or similar.

• Strong portfolio showcasing creative work across various media and social media

• Proficiency in creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Ability to think creatively and strategically.

• Understanding of marketing, branding, and advertising principles.

• Knowledge of current digital and social media trends.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Leads, manages and supervises on the creative direction of all marketing deliverables and campaigns while providing direction guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.

  • Collaborates with the marketing team and under the leadership of the Director of Marketing to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience to develop creative concepts, content ideas, strategies and designs that align with the overall marketing strategy and hotel’s goals.

  • Develops various forms of creative design, that are impactful and engaging, to include 3D and animation in addition to computer graphics, production layout and marketing support.

  • Writes, edits, and proofreads content to ensure it is free of errors, adheres to brand guidelines

  • Partners with related operational departments as part of a project team providing design, conceptualization and solutions pertaining to deliverables.

  • Oversees the creation of a wide range of visual assets including digital ads, social media content, marketing collateral, website design, and more.

  • Revises print and multimedia collateral to reflect the current brand look.

  • Ensures brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials, maintaining high standards of quality and creativity while focusing on managing the look and feel, concept, visual development and final execution of all design directions.

  • Stays up-to-date of the latest industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the creative output of the team.

  • Maintains familiarity with customer demographics and develops an appropriate look and feel for all promotion and event related collateral.

  • Monitors the progress of all projects. Provide continuous communication to the Marketing and/or Project team regarding ongoing projects and status updates.

  • Executes various aspects of production including scanning, digital retouching, image editing, special effects, file manipulation and layout.

  • Troubleshoots digital production issues as needed.

  • Maintains project files and archives.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to do tasks of graphic designer, videographer, and other creative work to produce multimedia content.

  • Provides support for escalated support needs via telephone and email and ensures proper resolution of each, including direct contact with stakeholders when necessary. Responds to and handles problems and complaints.

  • Manages the communication of trends via prepared reports to the appropriate personnel, as well as corporate headquarters and other service centres.

  • Performs other reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing.
