Role Overview:

The Learning & Development and Quality Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous growth and development of our staff while maintaining and improving quality standards across all departments of the hotel. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs, conducting quality assessments, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Learning & Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of each department.

  • Conduct training sessions on various topics including customer service, hospitality standards, safety procedures, and technical skills.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and performance assessments.

  • Identify skill gaps and develop strategies to address them through targeted training initiatives.

  • Collaborate with department heads to create individual development plans for staff members.

  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain quality standards across all hotel operations.

  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies.

  • Implement quality control measures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  1. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead a team of training and quality assurance staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Collaborate with department heads and supervisors to understand training needs and quality issues.

  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on training and quality matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theory.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate staff at all levels.

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training software/tools.
